Q. Who are Mr Bit Window Cleaning?
A. Mr Bit Window Cleaning is co-owned by Alan Tate and Andrea Syme and based in Christchurch. Joining them in the leadership team is long time friend and colleague Rhys Seddon. Alan is Mr Bit's Managing Director and is responsible for the safe operational running of the business whilst also making sure that the business is meeting its other targets and obligations.The website is currently built by Alan but that is where his creative flare ends! Andrea is the Mr Bit creative marketing whizz for all content across our digital and Social Media platforms so, when you see all those super cool posts out there on Facebook, Instagram and Tik Tok are coming from her! Andrea ensures high performance levels across the customer experience side of the company and is always making tweaks to the way we work based on the feedback that we receive from our customers. Rhys loves people and is the perfect fit for Mr Bit. Rhys supports Alan with day to day operations and is usually the first person our customers meet when we arriving at a job. Rhys supports Alan with testing and introducing new products and services. Rhys also specialises in Learning and Development which means that the team are developed, trained and are set up for success when they hit the road.

A.Our property care team also clear gutters , clean solar panels , install gutter whiskers , lichen removal on roofs , driveway treatments , post build and renovation cleans , end of tenancy clean. Office block cleans and a number of over services for our residential, retail and corporate customers.

A. We cover all of Christchurch , Hanmer Springs , Kaikoura and all towns and villages along the way.
Q. Do You Use Dish Liquid To Wash Windows?
NO!, we will never compromise on quality.We only use the highest quality window cleaning solution available made for professional window cleaners. We will never use dish liquid or car wash liquid to wash any windows.
Q.Do you work on Weekends and does it cost more?
A. Spending time with our families is important to us so we try and keep to Monday-Friday. The cost is the same as on any other normal business day. If you have a special event that you need to have cleaned on a weekend day then with at least 2 weeks notice we should be able to see to your needs.
Q. How Often do you replace your tools?
Sometimes daily depending on the number of windows to be cleaned that day and also the technique of the team member. The rubber blades that we use are made by either Ettorre or Unger and are sourced locally by a specialist cleaning supplies company here in Christchurch. On really hot or cold days we may swap the rubber blades between a hard or soft compounds to suit the outdoor temperature at the time!
Q. How often should I clean my windows?
A. Simply, It's your choice. Most of our customers are scheduled for either 8 or 12 weekly cleans. Location, budget and other factors such as road dust , kids or pets at the property will impact the decision on frequency rates.

We are also mindful that when scheduling jobs we can complete as many as we can that are in the same area and on the same day reducing time on the road.
